Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, a shared 12 kg bag is how many rooms book. Four people in Al Quoz 2 staff housing can fill one bag, pay AED 99 between them and still get their own clothes back. Put each person's things in a separate carrier bag with a name written on it.
- Each carrier is washed and folded apart from the others.
- Past twelve kilos, every extra kilo is AED 12.
Yes, workshop and warehouse clothes are welcome by the kilo. We wash dusty or greasy T-shirts and trousers apart from lighter everyday wear, and treat obvious marks before the main cycle. Mention heavy oil or paint when you book, as some marks need a second look.
- Pressed uniforms on hangers belong on uniform cleaning and pressing instead.
- Shirts you washed yourself can go to ironing for AED 9 a shirt.
The small bag is AED 60 and the large one AED 99. Going past the weight limit costs AED 12 for each added kilo. A week of work T-shirts, trousers, socks and a towel or two for one person usually fits the smaller bag with room to spare.
- Collection and return are free, whatever the bag size.
- The full rate card sits on the Laundrykhalas price page.
Leave it at reception, the guard room or your villa gate. Many Al Quoz 2 customers are out on shift when the driver comes, so just say in the chat where the bag will be waiting. It comes back to the same spot, folded, within 24 hours.
- You pick a half-hour slot on any day, early or late.
- Chat messages confirm the pickup and the return.
Your bag is back within 24 hours of pickup. Clothes are grouped by type and folded flat, so they go straight onto a shelf or into a locker. Heavy blankets and duvets are slower, because they need longer in the dryer to be dry right through.
- Duvets and blankets: 24 to 48 hours.
- Big bedding loads also fit on bedding and towels, washed in sets.
After every wear if you sweat outdoors or in a warehouse. Summer heat in Al Quoz 2 means shirts, socks and underwear pick up sweat fast, and leaving them in a bag for days sets the smell. A weekly bag for towels and bedding keeps the room fresh.
- A season by season view: the Dubai drying calendar.
- Wash intervals by item: how often to wash in UAE heat.
Yes, neighbouring areas book the same way at the same prices. Colleagues living in Al Quoz 4 or in the Al Quoz Industrial blocks can send a pin and a time, and their bag also comes back folded in 24 hours with free pickup and delivery.

- Across the yards: Al Quoz Industrial 2 pickups.
Yes, other services can travel with the bag. List them in the same WhatsApp message and the driver takes everything during the slot you chose. Each extra carries its own price and its own return time, with clothes still folded in 24 hours.

Al Quoz 2 mixes staff accommodation, company offices beside warehouses and a few villa streets. Our drivers take weighed bags from each of them, seven days a week. Things that need a hanger can ride along: company uniforms cleaned and pressed, shirts ironed only and bunk sheets and bath towels.
