La Cigale Hotel is about a kilometre east and Millennium Plaza Doha about 1.3 km north-east, so a single drive through Al Sadd often covers all three.
History
A newcomer to Al Sadd since 2019.
Hilton announced in October 2019 that DoubleTree by Hilton Doha - Al Sadd, with 139 rooms and suites, five restaurants and bars, five meeting rooms and an outdoor pool, was due to open the following month on Mohammed Bin Al Qasim Street, a few minutes from Mirqab Mall. The same month, Joaan metro station opened about 500 metres away.
- 2019Hilton appoints a cluster general manager in October and says the 139-room DoubleTree Al Sadd will open the next month.
- 2019Joaan station opens on 21 November with the rest of the Doha Metro Gold Line, about 535 metres from the hotel.
