Laundry & Dry Cleaning at Premier Inn Capital Centre.

The lowest-cost way to get clean clothes on a trip. Everything that can be machine washed goes in: up to 6kg is AED 60 and up to 12kg AED 99, with AED 12 for each extra kilo. Folded and returned to Premier Inn the next day.

Some fabrics simply cannot be washed. For those, a shirt is AED 15, a jumpsuit AED 35, a dress AED 40 and a two-piece suit AED 50. We will tell you honestly when a cheaper wash would do the job instead.

Clean but creased from the bag? A shirt on a hanger is AED 9, a folded shirt or a pair of shorts AED 10, trousers AED 12. Returned to Premier Inn the following day, ready for the exhibition or the flight home.

Hotel sheets are washed by the hotel; this card is for people renting flats in Capital Centre and Al Rawdah. A bed sheet costs AED 18, a pillow case AED 7, a blanket AED 30 and a towel AED 6. Large duvets take 48 hours.

Small repairs cost less than replacing the garment. A button is AED 12, a snap fastener AED 12, a seam AED 40 and a small hole darned for AED 40. Most jobs take 48 to 72 hours.

Not for hotel rooms: this is for residents nearby with their own carpets and curtains. Regular carpet costs AED 20 per square metre, wool AED 26, curtains AED 20 or AED 25 with blackout. Three days, collected and returned.
