Frequently Asked Questions
Anything machine-washable that does not need a hanger. Villa bags here tend to hold playclothes, school kit, swimwear, pool towels, jodhpurs, pyjamas and staff uniforms. Mix everything in one bag; it is divided by colour and fabric before a single item goes in.
- Gowns and suits go to Al Barari garments finished on hangers.
- Sheets can join; duvets need 24 to 48 hours.
It is AED 99 for 12 kg or AED 60 for 6 kg. Anything past 12 kg is charged at AED 12 per extra kilo, which suits the heavy weeks after guests leave. Getting the bag from the villa and back again is free.
- Just a few pieces? Small items start at AED 4.
- Every item and bag rate: Laundrykhalas prices in full.
The bag comes back folded within 24 hours of pickup. It returns to the person who handed it over, so a bag your housekeeper gives the driver on Tuesday morning is normally back in her hands by Wednesday morning. Heavy duvets and blankets need longer to dry.
- WhatsApp confirms pickup and return.
- Any 30-minute window, seven days.
Yes, uniforms can be bagged and folded on their own. Many Al Barari villas send housekeeping, nanny and driver uniforms in a separate bag so they come back as one set. Tell us in the chat and we keep them apart from the family's clothes.
- Each bag is weighed and billed on its own.
- On keeping fabrics bright: why colours fade in the Dubai sun.
Usually yes, towels are where weight pricing pays off. A dozen bath and pool towels weigh a good share of a 12 kg bag, yet cost far less than pricing each one. Sunscreen and chlorine are rinsed out, and towels come back dry and folded square.
- Mix towels with clothes; they are separated before washing.
- How often to change them: towel and bedding intervals for the UAE.
Yes, sorting and stain treatment come with every bag. Each Al Barari order is split by shade and fabric, grass, mud and food marks are worked on before washing, and delicate pieces go through a gentler cycle. Flag anything special and it gets extra care.
- Typical here: garden grass on playclothes, sunscreen on towels.
- Safe fabric guide: Dubai home care chart.
Yes, communities around Al Barari pay exactly the same. Neighbours drop a pin, choose a half hour and pay AED 60 or AED 99 per bag. Pickup and delivery there are free as well, and no fuel or distance charge is ever added.
- Neighbouring: Majan bags by the kilo.
- Also close: weighed bags in MBR City.
Yes, other services can come in the same pickup. Mention them on WhatsApp and one driver collects the lot from your villa. Each item is charged at its usual rate, and everything we collect in Al Barari is listed on a single page.
- Clothes: Suits and Gowns and Shirts Pressed.
- Home: Villa Bed Sets and Majlis Rugs.
- Extras: Riding Boots and Beach Totes.

We collect from every villa cluster within the Al Barari gates and from the Seventh Heaven and Ashjar residences. Items that need hanging can go in the same visit: gowns and tailoring, shirts already washed at home, and guest room sheets. The Laundrykhalas home page covers how it all works.
