Frequently Asked Questions
Most larger villas send one or two 12 kg bags a week. A household of five or six with school-age children fills 12 kg with uniforms, sportswear and towels alone. Send as many bags as you have, since every kilo over the bag weight is simply added at the set rate.
- 12 kg bag AED 99, 6 kg bag AED 60.
- Every kilo above that: AED 12.
- Full rates: the Laundrykhalas price page.
Yes, sheets and towels are weighed with the clothes. Barashi villas often have four or five bedrooms, so linen day can mean a full bag on its own. Pillow cases, fitted sheets, bath sheets and kitchen towels all go in by weight, and come back folded and grouped together.
- Duvets and comforters are bulkier and take 24 to 48 hours.
- Matched linen sets: sheets and towels returned in sets.
Yes, ask in the chat and we stack them by name. Write the request when you book, or pack each person's things in a different bag. Uniforms for Sunday, house clothes and pyjamas then go straight into the right cupboard without anyone sorting the stack on the floor again.
- Baby clothes can go through a fragrance-free load.
- Labelled bags come back labelled.
Within 24 hours of collection, folded and bagged. A bag picked up at your gate on Thursday evening is normally home by Friday evening. The driver brings it to the same gate or door it left from, and a WhatsApp message tells you it is on the way.
- Bulky duvets and blankets: 24 to 48 hours.
- Pickups happen on all seven days, Fridays too.
No, collection and return are both free. Whether you send one small bag or four large ones, the driver comes to the villa at no extra charge. There is no fuel fee and no distance fee, so the bill is the weight of the washing and nothing more.
- One 6 kg bag at AED 60 is collected free, the same as a big order.
- Equestrian Villas and the Muzairah Park streets included.
Marks are pre-treated before the main wash. Each Barashi bag is opened, sorted by colour and fabric, and checked. Food on white shirts, grass on PE kit and pen on trouser pockets get treated first, and anything delicate is moved to a gentle cycle so it is not washed with jeans.
- Point out a stubborn stain in the chat.
- Whites stay apart from dark colours.
Yes, the same bag service runs in both neighbours. Villa families on either side of Barashi message the same WhatsApp number, drop their location and name a time. Bag prices are the same in every Sharjah district we cover, and collection stays free.
- Family bags in Al Rahmaniya.
- Weekly bags in Tilal City.
- Every district: our Sharjah pickup areas.
Yes, other services can join the bag collection. Kanduras and abayas travel on hangers, while rugs and curtains are bagged separately. Add them to the same WhatsApp chat and the driver takes everything together, with each item at its own price. See everything we collect in Barashi.
- Hung garments: Kanduras and Abayas, Ironing for Home-Washed Clothes.
- Home: Majlis Rugs and Curtains.
- Fit: Uniform Hems.
