Yes, reception can hold the bag for the driver. Tag it with your name and room number, then drop us a line to say it is waiting at the desk. Finished orders return to the same counter, so there is no need to wait in the room or fetch parcels from the lobby.

Same day, if it reaches us before 12 noon. It comes back pressed and hanging before eleven that night. If it arrives after midday, count on the following morning, which suits a suit left with the concierge at night.

Yes, at no extra cost. Put the request in your first message and every item in the bag, beach towels too, goes through the wash with detergent that carries no perfume. It suits children and sensitive skin, and nothing changes in speed or price.

Allow 40 to 55 minutes by taxi to Dubai International. Flying from Al Maktoum instead? That drive is shorter, at around half an hour to forty minutes. Keep three hours free at the airport for an international flight, and hand over washing the day before you leave.

Movenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach opened in March 2010 (one source says February) as a 23-storey tower on The Walk at JBR. All 297 rooms have balconies. It shares a location in some databases with the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach, but the two are separate hotels. Guests send us beachwear, evening clothes and business shirts.
