Frequently Asked Questions
Machine-safe clothes and towels that need no pressing. In MBR City homes that usually means school uniforms, tennis and gym kit, jeans, T-shirts, pyjamas, pool towels and household staff uniforms. Put it all in together; every bag is split by shade and fabric first.
- Suits and silk belong with MBR City garments sent back on hangers.
- Sheets may join; a duvet takes 24 to 48 hours.
The small bag is AED 60 and the large bag AED 99. The small one takes up to 6 kg, the large one up to 12 kg, and every kilo over that adds AED 12. Nothing is charged for collecting from your tower or villa, and no fuel fee appears.
- Only a handful of small items? From AED 4 each.
- Compare items on the Laundrykhalas price page.
Folded clothes are back within 24 hours of collection. The bag returns to wherever it left, so one given to the Hartland concierge on Sunday morning is normally waiting there again on Monday morning. Thick duvets and blankets take longer because the filling has to dry fully.
- A WhatsApp message at pickup and at return.
- Pick any 30-minute window, every day.
Most families with children choose the 12 kg bag. A week of school uniforms, sports kit, towels and casual wear for four people fills it comfortably. Singles and couples in Sobha Hartland apartments often find the 6 kg bag is enough, especially when office wear goes separately.
- Weekly or every few days? a UAE schedule for clothes and towels.
- Extra kilos over 12 kg are AED 12 each.
Yes, many MBR City families use it that way. The everyday wash leaves the house, which frees your housekeeper for cooking, the children and the rest of the home. Delicate or tailored pieces can stay behind for hand care or go to our hanger service instead.
- Bags can be handed over by your staff at the door.
- Items to keep out of a machine: eight garments that need gentler treatment.
Yes, sorting and stain work are part of the bag price. Each MBR City bag is divided by shade and material, spots and stains are dealt with first, and delicate items get a gentler cycle of their own. Name a favourite top when you book and we give it extra care.
- Common here: grass on football kit and sunscreen on pool towels.
- Why whites turn grey: what spoils clothes in Dubai water.
Yes, the communities around MBR City book on identical terms. Villas and apartments nearby share a pin, choose a half hour and pay the same AED 60 or AED 99 per bag. Pickup and drop-off stay free, and the distance adds nothing.
- Next door: weighed bags from Al Barari villas.
- Close by: Nad Al Sheba 2 by the kilo.
Yes, other services can travel in the same collection. List them when you message us and a single driver picks up everything at your tower or villa. Each extra item keeps its usual rate, and every service we run in MBR City sits on one page.
- Clothes: Suits Returned Hanging and Shirts Pressed Only.
- Home: Villa Bed Sets and Rugs and Drapes.
- Extras: Football Boots and School Backpacks.

Drivers collect from the Sobha Hartland towers and villas, the District One homes around the Crystal Lagoon and the streets near Meydan Racecourse. Pieces that need a hanger can share the visit: tailoring and silk on hangers, shirts your housekeeper washed, and sheets and bathrobes. See all we collect in MBR City.
