How We Clean a Mascot in Emirates Towers
Inspect and Record
Every seam, glued joint and worn patch is checked and photographed first, so the costume's existing condition is on record before anything is cleaned.
Hand Clean and Sanitise
Body, head, gloves and feet are cleaned by hand in sections. The lining and head padding are sanitised and deodorised separately, because that is where the odour sits.
Air-Dry Flat and Check
Dried flat on racks at room temperature over a day or more, then checked for head fit and fur direction before packing. No heat, no tumbling, at any point.

Mascot Cleaning FAQs, Emirates Towers
Yes, character suits, fursuits and full-body costumes are handled the same way. Anything built from foam, synthetic fur and glued seams needs the same treatment: hand cleaning in sections, no drum, no heat, flat drying. Character suits, parade costumes and fursuits are all priced by size on the same scale as mascots.
- Character suits, parade costumes and fursuits
- Priced by size on the same scale
- Send a photo if you are unsure which size applies
Yes, regular collections can be arranged for teams and venues. Event companies, schools and venues that clean the same costumes repeatedly can book a standing collection rather than arranging each one. It is the same service and the same pricing; the difference is that we already know the costume and its history.
- Standing collections for repeat customers
- Same pricing, no contract required
- Common for event companies and schools in Emirates Towers
Mascot cleaning costs AED 200 to AED 250 depending on costume size. Size sets the price, not time spent: AED 200 small, AED 230 standard, AED 250 large. Body and head are always cleaned together for that price. Gloves, feet and capes are AED 30 each, and collection in Emirates Towers is free.
- Small AED 200, medium AED 230, large AED 250
- Gloves, feet, capes and signs: AED 30 each
- Free collection and return across Dubai
Yes, and collection and return are free on orders from AED 30. Mascots are bulky and awkward to transport, which is the usual reason they sit uncleaned. We collect from homes, offices, schools, warehouses and event venues in Emirates Towers on a booked slot and return the costume the same way.
- Free doorstep pickup anywhere in Emirates Towers
- Venue, warehouse and store-room collections are standard
- AED 30 minimum order, which every mascot clean is well above
No, as long as the costume is never machine washed or heat dried. The damage people fear comes from the machine, not the cleaning. A drum compresses foam and pulls glued seams apart; heat flattens head padding for good. Hand cleaning in sections and unheated flat drying avoid both, at the cost of a few extra days.
- No drum washing and no tumble drying at any stage
- Air-dried flat on racks, typically over 24 to 48 hours
- Head shape and fit checked again before packing
Most mascots take three to five days from collection to return. The cleaning is a few hours. The wait is drying, which happens flat and unheated or the head loses its shape. If you have a date in Emirates Towers, say so and we plan back from it.
- Three to five days is typical, drying is the limiting step
- Give us the event date and we work backwards from it
- Heavily soiled costumes may need an extra drying day
Yes, in most cases, because we clean the lining and head padding. Odour sits in the lining and the padding inside the head, not in the outer fabric. Both are treated with a fabric-safe sanitiser and deodorised separately from the shell. We neutralise the smell rather than perfuming over it, so the costume is not strongly scented when worn.
- Lining and head padding sanitised as a separate step
- Odour neutralised, not masked with fragrance
- Sweat contact points treated individually
Yes, and they are cleaned with the costume so the set matches. Cleaning pieces at different times is how a costume ends up mismatched, so everything goes through in one batch and comes back together. Separate items such as capes, signs and props are AED 30 each. List what is included when you book.
- Body, head, gloves and feet cleaned as one batch
- Detachable accessories AED 30 per piece
- Everything returned together as a matched set

"Had the full mascot set collected from Emirates Towers after the mascot was caught in the rain, and the foam sits exactly as it did before. They worked to our event date rather than quoting a vague turnaround."
via Google "Booked on a recommendation from another club and they said upfront which marks would not come out. Straightforward, and the costume is wearable again."
via Trustpilot "Our event mascot had not been cleaned in two seasons and honestly smelled like it. Came back fresh and the head still fits properly, which I was worried about."
"School mascot picked up and returned within the week. They warned us one stain might not come out fully, and they were right, but everything else looks new."
"Three laundries turned us down before this one. They took the whole costume, gloves and feet included, and returned it as a set."
"Used them for my daughter's giant teddy that could not go in the machine. Came back clean, dry and not stiff at all."
via Website "We run brand activations and the fur matting was becoming visible in photos. They cleaned with the pile and it photographs properly again."
"Booked around our event date and it arrived two days early. The deodorising is the part that impressed me most."
"Straightforward pricing and they collected from our warehouse in Al Quoz. Will use again before the next season."

Teams across Emirates Towers use us between bookings rather than once a season. A costume worn by different performers holds sweat in the lining after a single event, so the lining and the padding inside the head are sanitised and deodorised as a separate step from the outer shell. Collection and return across Dubai are free on orders from AED 30, which every mascot clean exceeds.
