A 6kg wash and fold bag costs QAR 60 near Souq Waqif. We wash, dry and fold it and bring it back to your boutique hotel within 24 hours. Dry cleaning is charged per item, and both pickup and delivery are free on any order of QAR 30 or more.

No, they are for the hotel's own laundry service. For Laundrykhalas, use any bag at all and send a WhatsApp message saying roughly what is in it. Before cleaning we confirm the items with you in the chat, so you do not need to fill in a slip.

Kingsgate Hotel Doha is around 700 metres away, and Park Hyatt Doha and Mandarin Oriental, Doha in Msheireb are each just over 700 metres west, so the old city is a regular part of our route.
History

The Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels are nine small hotels in historic buildings scattered through the souq. They include Al Bidda, once the home of a noble Qatari family, the 19-room Arumaila, and Bismillah, described as Doha's oldest hotel. Since 2017 the collection has been run by Tivoli Hotels & Resorts.
- 2017Tivoli Hotels & Resorts takes over operation from Katara Hospitality in October, and the group becomes Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli, the brand's first property in the Middle East.
- 2019The Gold Line metro opens to the public on 21 November, with a station at Souq Waqif.
- 2026Visit Qatar lists nine boutique hotels in the collection, with six food and beverage outlets, an outdoor pool and a spa with a Moroccan hammam.
