On the Al Gassar shore since 2012.
The St. Regis Doha opened on 31 March 2012 in the Al Gassar Resort, developed by the Alfardan Group, with 336 rooms and suites facing the Gulf, a private beach and the Remède Spa. Its opening line-up included two Gordon Ramsay restaurants, with Hakkasan following later, and its Grand Ballroom is among the largest event spaces in Doha.
- Mar 2012The hotel opens its doors on 31 March in the Al Gassar Resort development, north of West Bay.
- May 2012Starwood announces the St. Regis debut in Qatar: 336 rooms and suites, a private beach with cabanas, and two Gordon Ramsay restaurants.
