History
A New York icon, rising over West Bay.
Hilton announced a Waldorf Astoria for Doha's West Bay in 2013, then expecting it by 2016. The hotel finally opened in early 2024: a 44-storey tower whose facade and entrance recall the original Waldorf Astoria in New York, with Art Deco interiors, a Tiffany & Co. clock honouring the falcon in the lobby, and a spa on floors 39 to 43.
