How We Clean Soft Toys in Al Wajba
Check and Test
Seams, fixings and filling are checked, electronics found and dealt with, and the dye colour-tested on a hidden patch. Anything already loose or likely to stay stained is reported before cleaning starts.
Hand Wash and Sanitise
Washed by hand at low temperature in sections, never in a drum, then sanitised through the filling to deal with dust mites and bacteria rather than just the smell.
Dry, Brush and Check
Air-dried at room temperature until the core of the stuffing is dry, then brushed out along the fur so the pile stands up, and checked over once more before it is packed.

Al Wajba Soft Toy Questions
Everything you need to know about our footwear restoration process in Al Wajba.
A plush falcon with folded wings is usually small, QAR 55. One with a wide wingspan is QAR 70, and a life sized bird QAR 120. Al Wajba villas get the van free, and the fee includes checking each feather piece, washing, sanitising, drying and grooming.
- Feather checks included.
- See Laundrykhalas prices.
The falcon returns to its perch in 2 to 3 days. Spread wings dry quickly, but the chest is thickly stuffed and needs time in still air, and heat would warp the felt feathers. If a family gathering is planned, tell us and we will give a firm day.
- Wings dried flat.
- Date by message.
Yes, it is safe for young falconers. The hooked beak, talons and hood are often felt, and each is tugged gently before washing. A lukewarm rinse with a fabric grade sanitiser follows, and the falcon dries until there is no damp left in its chest.
- No perfume.
- Beak and talons checked.
Some do. A falcon that screeches or flaps its wings keeps a battery unit in its chest, normally behind a velcro strip, so it can be taken out and clipped back afterwards. If the chest is stitched closed, the unit is sealed in a waterproof wrap. Should it look fragile, we ask before going on.
- Glued feathers tested.
- The unit stays dry.
Yes, the wings should keep their span. Spinning would fold them and loosen felt feathers, so each wing is washed on its own and dried spread flat. Once dry, the body is brushed so the feathers lie neatly again.
- Lost felt feathers cannot be replaced.
- We say so at pickup.
Yes, desert dust reaches every shelf in a villa. Over months it sinks into the falcon's thickly stuffed chest, and dust mites follow it there. We press a textile sanitiser into that chest and leave the bird on its rack until it is dry to the core, so it goes back to its perch fresh.
- Good in dusty seasons.

WhatsApp us from Al Wajba. Pin your villa, mention when the majlis door or gate will be answered and send a picture of the falcon on its perch. We reply with the fee and a half hour window for the driver, whatever the day, and you will never need an app.

Yes, both neighbours are covered. Bani Hajar shares a border with us and Education City is a short drive east, and families in both have toys collected at no charge, at the same rates, back as quickly as yours. Share a pin and a driver heading out along the Dukhan Highway will come.

Soft Toys We Clean in Al Wajba Al Wajba.
"My daughter's bear has been slept with for four years and I was too scared to wash it. It came back clean and still soft, and she did not notice anything different about it, which was the whole point."
via Google "We do this every couple of months now because of my son's asthma. They clean the bedding and his two toys together and the difference in his mornings is obvious."
"Big unicorn plush, about a metre tall. Took three days because of the drying, which they told me upfront, and it came back fluffy instead of the flat mess I got from the washer last time."
via Trustpilot "They found a loose eye on one of the toys and told me instead of sending it back like that. Small thing, but with a toddler in the house it mattered."
"We sent eleven toys from our nursery playroom. Collected on Sunday, back midweek, all labelled and counted correctly. The batch price was fair for the work."
via Website "A singing elephant with the sound box sewn in. I assumed it was not washable. They cleaned around the unit and it still plays, so I was wrong."
"My mother's teddy from the sixties. They said in advance the faded patches would not improve and not to expect white, and that honesty is why I used them again."
