How We Clean Soft Toys in Bani Hajar
Check and Test
Seams, fixings and filling are checked, electronics found and dealt with, and the dye colour-tested on a hidden patch. Anything already loose or likely to stay stained is reported before cleaning starts.
Hand Wash and Sanitise
Washed by hand at low temperature in sections, never in a drum, then sanitised through the filling to deal with dust mites and bacteria rather than just the smell.
Dry, Brush and Check
Air-dried at room temperature until the core of the stuffing is dry, then brushed out along the fur so the pile stands up, and checked over once more before it is packed.

Bani Hajar Soft Toy Questions
Everything you need to know about our footwear restoration process in Bani Hajar.
An oryx standing as tall as a school bag is medium, QAR 70. A small one for a cot costs QAR 55, and the giant National Day versions QAR 120. Bani Hajar villas get pickup free, and the price includes the hand wash, sanitiser, slow drying and brushing the white coat.
- Horns kept straight at no extra cost.
- Rates: the Laundrykhalas price list.
The oryx returns in 2 to 3 days. Four thin legs dry quickly, while the body and the stuffed horns need longer in still air, and heat could yellow the white coat. Want it back before National Day or Eid? Tell us the date and we will plan for it.
- White coats kept cool.
- The day is confirmed by message.
Yes, it is safe for the youngest children. The soft horns, ears and dark eye patches are given a light pull before washing. The oryx is then rinsed in tepid water with a sanitiser meant for textiles and left until even the horns are dry inside.
- Nothing perfumed.
- Horns and ears checked.
Rarely, but some do. Oryx toys that play a national song usually hold the unit in the belly, which we lift out through a seam and refit after drying. Sealed units are wrapped so water never touches them. If it could break, we check with you first.
- Glued hooves tested.
- The unit stays dry.
Yes, it should stand tall with straight horns. Spinning would bend the horns and push filling into the legs, so each part is washed on its own by hand. While drying, the horns are propped straight, and afterwards the coat is brushed so the white looks clean and even.
- Yellowed white may not fully brighten.
- We tell you at pickup.
Yes, and pale toys hide dust well. Desert dust blown in from the west settles into the stuffing, where mites feed. We take the sanitiser right into the oryx's body and dry it thoroughly, so it is clean inside before it goes back on display.
- Good in windy months.
- Bedding via our Bani Hajar page.
Send a WhatsApp from Bani Hajar. Give your villa location, the time someone will open the gate and a photo of the oryx. The cost and a 30 minute arrival window follow straight away, any day, with no app at all.

Yes, we cover the neighbours too. Al Wajba is right beside us and Education City a short drive east, with Al Nasiriya not far, and toys there are fetched free, priced the same and returned just as soon. Message your pin to book.

Soft Toys We Clean in Bani Hajar Bani Hajar.
"My daughter's bear has been slept with for four years and I was too scared to wash it. It came back clean and still soft, and she did not notice anything different about it, which was the whole point."
via Google "We do this every couple of months now because of my son's asthma. They clean the bedding and his two toys together and the difference in his mornings is obvious."
"Big unicorn plush, about a metre tall. Took three days because of the drying, which they told me upfront, and it came back fluffy instead of the flat mess I got from the washer last time."
via Trustpilot "They found a loose eye on one of the toys and told me instead of sending it back like that. Small thing, but with a toddler in the house it mattered."
"We sent eleven toys from our nursery playroom. Collected on Sunday, back midweek, all labelled and counted correctly. The batch price was fair for the work."
via Website "A singing elephant with the sound box sewn in. I assumed it was not washable. They cleaned around the unit and it still plays, so I was wrong."
"My mother's teddy from the sixties. They said in advance the faded patches would not improve and not to expect white, and that honesty is why I used them again."
