Several days of desert clothes, from dune-walk T-shirts to pool wear, cost least as one weighed load. AED 60 covers up to 6kg and AED 99 up to 12kg, then AED 12 per kilo. We tip the sand out before washing, and the load is folded within a day of arriving with us.

For dinners at Al Waha or Suhail, or a family gathering in Liwa. Kanduras cost AED 15, basic abayas AED 18, day dresses AED 40 and evening gowns for dinner AED 65. Every piece is finished and pressed within a day of the driver collecting it.

After two hours or more in the car, clean clothes often just need an iron. Hung shirts are AED 9, kanduras AED 12, dresses AED 25 and a ghutra AED 7. Pressing is done by the next day.

The resort's linen is its own; this card is for families with homes and farms around Liwa. Sheets are AED 18, a blanket AED 30, a large blanket AED 40 and a comforter AED 45. Large duvets take 48 hours.

Fine Liwa sand works its way into every pair of shoes. Trainers cost AED 55 per pair, walking boots AED 85 and sandals AED 45, all cleaned by hand. Allow two to four days, with delivery to your city address.

Luggage that rode through the desert gathers dust in every corner. A duffel bag costs AED 65 to clean, a small suitcase AED 85, a medium one AED 130 and a handbag AED 45. Allow three to five days.

A torn seam from a dune climb or a lost button is simple to fix. Seams cost AED 40, buttons AED 12 and trouser hems AED 40. Repairs need two to three days, so most guests have them delivered home.

For family houses and farm majlis rooms across the Western Region; the resort is not included. Rugs cost AED 20 a square metre, or AED 26 if wool; curtains AED 20, or AED 25 with blackout lining. Ready in three days.

For couples and families who celebrated in the desert and want the gown looked after. Gowns start at AED 250, heavily beaded ones at AED 450, and a keepsake box costs AED 210. Gown cleaning takes one to two weeks.

For event crews working festivals around Liwa with a costumed character. Prices run AED 200, AED 230 and AED 250 for small, medium and large suits, plus AED 30 per accessory. Back in three to five days.

For families whose child's toy came back from the dunes gritty. We charge AED 55 for small toys, AED 70 for medium and AED 120 for large ones, cleaned gently and dried thoroughly. Ready in two to three days.

For households across Al Dhafra with removable sofa and majlis covers. A regular cover is AED 35 and a large one AED 40; cushion covers are AED 10 to AED 20. Allow two to three days.

Winter nights in Liwa are cold, and sand scratches leather. Our leather care starts at AED 150 for a jacket, AED 130 for a coat or blazer and AED 100 for wallets or belts, each hand-finished. Allow three to five days.
