The bag fills up quickly in a beach building: pool towels, swimwear, padel shirts, sleepwear. We charge by weight, AED 60 for 6kg and AED 99 for 12kg, then AED 12 for each kilo above that. Everything is washed, dried and folded, then returned within a day.

For shirts, tailored trousers, dresses and suits, priced item by item. A shirt is AED 15, trousers AED 18, a day dress AED 40 and a two-piece suit AED 50. Pieces come back pressed on hangers within 24 hours, and an order booked before midday can be ready that evening.

Already washed but creased from the dryer or a suitcase? We only press. A shirt on a hanger costs AED 9, trousers or jeans AED 12 and a dress AED 25. It suits residents who wash at home but would rather not stand at an ironing board on a hot afternoon.

Beach and pool towels are AED 6 each, a bed sheet AED 18 and a bathrobe AED 16. A duvet costs AED 50 and takes two days because the filling must dry right through. Everything else in this group comes back to Ellington Beach House the following day.

Padel and gym trainers collect court grit, and sandals pick up sand on the beach walk. Sports trainers and formal shoes are AED 55 a pair, sandals and espadrilles AED 45 and boots AED 85. Shoes take two to four days, so keep a second pair for the court.

A tote that goes to the beach every weekend ends up with sunscreen and sand in the seams. Totes and standard handbags cost AED 45, crossbody bags AED 55 and gym or duffel bags AED 65. Allow three to five days, and tell us about any mark you have noticed.

Moving into a new home often comes with new clothes that do not quite fit. A plain hem, a standard waist change or a sleeve adjustment each starts at AED 40, and a bigger waist change is AED 50. Most work takes two to three days, faster if you mention a date.

Most homes here were handed over in 2024, so many owners have chosen their first rugs and curtains. Regular rugs are AED 20 per square metre and wool rugs AED 26. Curtains cost AED 20 per square metre, or AED 25 with blackout lining, and are ready in three days.

A gown worn at a beach wedding can carry sand, salt and make-up at the hem. Simple gowns start at AED 250 and heavily beaded ones at AED 450. A veil is AED 55, and a preservation box to store the dress is AED 210. Plan for one to two weeks.

This is aimed at events companies and brands, not households. A small mascot costume costs AED 200, a medium one AED 230 and a large one AED 250, and each accessory is AED 30 more. Costumes are cleaned, freshened and dried right through, then returned in three to five days.

Children carry soft toys everywhere, including the kids' pool deck. Small toys cost AED 55, medium ones AED 70 and large ones AED 120. They are cleaned gently so the stuffing keeps its shape, and they are back in two or three days, before bedtime becomes a problem.

Removable sofa covers in a sea-view living room fade and soak up sunscreen. A regular cover costs AED 35, a large one AED 40, and cushion covers start at AED 10 for small. They are washed with care for the fabric and come back in two or three days, ready to fit.

Leather needs a gentler process than ordinary dry cleaning, especially after the humid months. Leather jackets start at AED 150 and leather coats or blazers at AED 130. We clean and condition the piece and return it to Ellington Beach House in three to five days.
