Residents who commute off the Palm need five sharp shirts by Monday. Shirts are AED 15, trousers AED 18, a jacket or blazer AED 40 and a two-piece suit AED 50, with a kandura at AED 15. Everything is washed or dry cleaned to its label and returned on hangers within 24 hours.

Not something most residents need, but useful if you run events or children's parties from home. Small costumes are AED 200, medium AED 230 and large AED 250, with each accessory AED 30. Suits are cleaned inside, deodorised, dried gently and returned in 3 to 5 days.

Families living here use the resort's children's play areas, and the favourite rabbit usually comes too. A small soft toy is AED 55, medium AED 70 and large AED 120. Toys are cleaned gently, dried right through and returned in 2 to 3 days, ready for bed again.

Furnished flats with removable covers can be freshened without replacing anything. Regular sofa covers are AED 35, large ones AED 40, and cushion covers AED 10, AED 15 or AED 20 by size. They come back in 2 to 3 days, pressed to fit the frame again.

Leather jackets live in the wardrobe for most of the year and come out for the cooler months or a trip abroad. Leather jackets start at AED 150 and coats or blazers at AED 130. Each piece is cleaned and conditioned by hand and returns in 3 to 5 days.
