Festive and traditional wear handled with care. A saree is AED 40 to clean, a men’s shalwar kurta AED 15, a women’s AED 30, a sherwani AED 40 and a lungi AED 15. Booked before noon, the outfits are back at V Hotel the same evening.

Outfits that only creased on the journey. A saree is AED 35 to press, a three-piece salwar set AED 25, a women’s kurta AED 15, a dupatta AED 10 and a shirt on a hanger AED 9. Pressed and returned within 24 hours, on hangers.

For families living in Al Faseel and along the Corniche, never for hotel rooms. Bed sheets are AED 18 to wash, pillowcases AED 7, blankets AED 30 and duvets AED 50, with bath towels at AED 6. Back in a day, or two for a large duvet.

Polished shoes for the function and sandals worn on the Corniche promenade. Formal pairs are AED 55, sandals AED 45, children’s shoes AED 35, and stain protection adds AED 20. Cleaned and ready in two to four days.

The embroidered clutch for the evening and the everyday handbag. Clutches and standard handbags are AED 45, crossbody bags AED 55 and a small suitcase AED 85. Cleaned and conditioned in three to five days, then brought back to V Hotel.

Only for households along the Corniche, not for anything belonging to V Hotel. A wool rug costs AED 26 per square metre and a standard one AED 20; plain curtains are AED 20 per square metre and blackout-lined AED 25. They return within three days.

When a family wedding brings you to Fujairah, the groom’s sherwani is AED 70 to clean and his three-piece suit AED 50. Bridal gowns begin at AED 250, heavily beaded ones at AED 450, bridesmaid dresses AED 35. Allow one to two weeks.

Community associations and festival organisers in Fujairah often dress someone as a big friendly character. That suit costs AED 200 small, AED 230 medium or AED 250 large to clean, with AED 30 for each head piece or prop. Up to five days.

Evenings up in the Hajar Mountains can be cool enough for a leather jacket. Cleaning one starts from AED 150, a leather coat or blazer from AED 130 and a belt or wallet from AED 100. It is conditioned too, and ready within five days.
