Costume Cleaning Covers in Downtown Dubai?
A mascot is heavy, padded and awkward, so many cleaners turn them away. We accept them, take them apart and return them ready for the next appearance.
How a Costume Is Cleaned in Downtown Dubai
Inspect and Record
Every seam, glued joint and worn patch is checked and photographed first, so the costume's existing condition is on record before anything is cleaned.
Hand Clean and Sanitise
Body, head, gloves and feet are cleaned by hand in sections. The lining and head padding are sanitised and deodorised separately, because that is where the odour sits.
Air-Dry Flat and Check
Dried flat on racks at room temperature over a day or more, then checked for head fit and fur direction before packing. No heat, no tumbling, at any point.
