Can you wash a duvet or comforter that does not fit my machine?
Yes. We use large-capacity machines and dry it fully so the filling does not clump. Bulky pieces can take up to 48 hours.
Does washing bedding help with allergies?
Sheets are washed hot to clear dust mites and allergens. Ask for fragrance-free washing when you book.
Can you remove yellowing from towels?
Yes. Oxygen brighteners lift yellowing, cosmetics and oil marks without chlorine, which weakens fibres.

When Laundry Dries Outdoors in Riffa
Riffa has two drying problems and a short gap between them. Humidity peaks in December at 69.1%, and 3 months rate Avoid, when a load hung out in the evening can still be damp next morning. From June to September the monthly mean runs above 33.5C, and the risk turns to UV fade and dust on wet fabric. The dependable months are April, May and October. Bahrain is small enough that the ERA5 climate model reads the whole island in three cells about 25 km across. Riffa sits in the south-eastern cell with Sitra, which runs 1.7 points drier than Manama across the year.
