Common questions
What goes in a Wash & Fold bag in Salihiya?
Everyday clothes such as t-shirts, trousers, pyjamas, gym wear, socks and underwear. Whites, colours and darks are washed apart, then tumble dried, folded and packed.
What if a dry-clean-only item is in my bag?
We set it aside instead of washing it. Silks, suits and abayas go through Clean & Press and are priced per item.
Can I choose my detergent or softener?
Yes. Tell us when you book on WhatsApp and we wash your bag with it.

Common questions
Can you wash a duvet or comforter that does not fit my machine?
Yes. We use large-capacity machines and dry it fully so the filling does not clump. Bulky pieces can take up to 48 hours.
Does washing bedding help with allergies?
Sheets are washed hot to clear dust mites and allergens. Ask for fragrance-free washing when you book.
Can you remove yellowing from towels?
Yes. Oxygen brighteners lift yellowing, cosmetics and oil marks without chlorine, which weakens fibres.

What Salihiya Gets From Laundrykhalas
Collection at Zero Cost
The trip is on us: Whether you live off Road 1224 or near Bilad Al Qadeem Avenue, the driver comes to Salihiya for free once the order reaches BD 3.000. Two abayas or four bags, you pay only for the cleaning. That helps households who send a few pieces often rather than saving everything up for one big weekly load.
Arabic and English Replies
Your language, your phone: Write in Arabic or English and you get an answer in the same language. Ask what a lehenga or a duvet costs, move the visit to after work or add a pair of curtains, all in one WhatsApp thread. No call centre, no app, no account to set up.
Rates Known in Advance
Every price on the list: A kurta is BD 2.800, a daraa BD 2.000, a thobe BD 1.500 and a bed sheet BD 1.000. A mixed bag is BD 6.000 up to 6 kg. The total is written in the chat before the driver leaves for Salihiya, and you settle by BENEFIT, card or cash.
Back by Tomorrow
A one-day loop: Hand over clothes after dinner and they are home again the next evening. For Salihiya families that means school clothes, work trousers and bedding stay in rotation, and nobody spends the weekend sorting and folding in a small flat with little room to dry anything.
Life in Salihiya
Bags of School Clothes
Uniforms and play clothes picked up on a set day and home folded the next. -
The school week: Families in Salihiya send the 12 kg sorted bag for BD 9.900 so whites, colours and baby clothes are washed apart. Collected on a fixed evening, it comes home folded within 24 hours, which leaves the weekend for visits instead of the washing line on the roof.

Uniforms Between Shifts
Nurses and staff from the Salmaniya side book pickups that fit around their rota. -
Shift-friendly timing: Salihiya sits close to Salmaniya Medical Complex, and many residents work rotating shifts. Book an early or late slot in the chat and we fit around it. Work tops are BD 1.500 each, trousers BD 1.800, and both come back pressed within 24 hours, ready for the next shift.

Kurtas, Sarees and Abayas
Festival and everyday outfits cleaned one by one and returned hung. -
Outfits for every occasion: A saree is BD 4.000, a salwar kameez set BD 3.400, an abaya BD 2.500 and a thobe BD 1.500 to clean and finish. Each is handled separately to protect embroidery and colours, then hung for the return to Salihiya. Book ahead of Eid or a wedding and tell us the date.

One Pickup, Many Bags
Workers sharing a flat each send a labelled bag in the same visit. -
Kept apart: In shared Salihiya flats each person fills a bag and writes a name on it. We weigh and price every bag on its own, wash them separately and bring them back labelled. A mixed 6 kg bag is BD 6.000, and each person can pay their own share by BENEFIT or cash.
