A crease is only as good as the press that sets it, and a pleated skirt is easily ruined by the wrong wash. Here's how we handle both.
A professional press sets the crease
A home iron can't set a crease that survives a day's wear the way a commercial press can. It's the difference between trousers that look sharp at 9am and ones that still look sharp at 6pm.
Never wash a pleated skirt
Washing flattens set pleats permanently. Pleated skirts should be dry cleaned and the pleats hand-re-set — worth knowing before a favourite is ruined.
We press to avoid shine
The seat and knees of trousers shine from wear and hot ironing. We press at fabric-safe heat with a protective cloth, so the finish stays matte and even.
Hems get treated specifically
Trouser hems drag and pick up grime you stop noticing. We spot-treat the hem line so the whole leg looks clean, not just the top.
