Pick the time your flight leaves. A long-haul trip needs roughly three hours at the terminal, and the road out of JVC, slow on a busy evening, comes on top.
The taxi from JVC to Dubai International Airport takes 35 to 50 minutes. Al Maktoum International Airport lies slightly nearer, about 25 to 35 minutes away.

Frequently Asked Questions
Pool days and nights out do mean extra laundry. Swimwear, towels and evening wear often travel in the same bag, so we sort them: towels and swimwear are washed by weight and delicate outfits are dry cleaned. One pickup covers both, and reception can hold the bag if you are down by the water. Putting towels in a separate bag from the evening wear keeps the two jobs apart.

Your suite, your name and a short list. The number we use, +971 50 384 1660, is Laundrykhalas, separate from hotel reception. Two dresses and a bag of swimwear typed in a line is all we need, and a quote comes back before any driver leaves the depot. A dress that must not be tumble dried? Say so and the note is passed to the team.

The same night, if collected by noon. We dry clean and press evening dresses and return them on a hanger before 11 pm. If the event falls on your last night, send the dress early in the day and mention the time you need it. Silk, satin and sequins follow a hand-checked route, and the dress comes back on a hanger in a cover.

Swimwear is AED 12 and towels are AED 6. Pieces are washed to remove chlorine and sun cream and returned folded the next day. Large amounts are cheaper by weight: AED 99 buys a full 12kg bag, which suits a suite with a private pool. A communal pool and a children's pool on level 5 mean towels go through quickly, so twelve kilos often cover a family for a whole stay.

Usually, yes, if treated promptly. We check every item for marks before cleaning and treat chlorine, sun lotion and food first. When a stain will probably stay, a picture and a straight verdict reach you before the order is finished. Sun lotion is easier to remove when fresh, so send the item the same day if you can.

Yes, the whole district is covered. Our drivers also stop at HE Hotel Apartments and Gulf Oasis Hotel Apartments, so friends in other buildings can book the same way at the same price. Every tower on the rounds is served in the same pattern, so the wait hardly changes between buildings.

Yes, at no extra charge. Say so in the opening message and every item gets a gentle, unscented wash. A baby's clothes cost AED 6 apiece, and the bag keeps its normal price. A baby's towels and swimwear go in the same gentle wash, and soft toys can be added for hand washing.

Yes, they simply join the weighed bag. Gym kit, towels and socks are washed, dried and folded together, so a week of workouts costs the same as any other load. Shoes and handbags take longer, two to four days and three to five, and can be delivered to another Dubai address if you leave first. Gym trainers go in the weighed bag, while leather shoes follow the hand-cleaning route.

We deliver it to your next address. Gowns and sherwanis take a week or two, leather a few days more. Once finished they are brought to any Dubai address you give us, so your check-out date never limits what you can send. Several guests ask for outfits to be ready on the morning they leave; say so and delivery is scheduled for that day.

FIVE Jumeirah Village in JVC
FIVE Jumeirah Village opened on 2 September 2019 with 247 hotel rooms and suites and 254 apartments, many with their own plunge pools. The hotel counts more than 260 pools in all, plus a communal pool and children's pool on level 5, and six restaurants and bars. The First Collection stands about 200 metres away. Guests mostly send swimwear, towels and evening wear.
