A wellness stay means two or three changes a day: a morning workout set, swimwear for the infinity pool, a light outfit for Vibe at lunch. Put it all in one bag. We charge AED 60 for 6kg, AED 99 for 12kg and AED 12 for every kilo above that, and it comes back to The Retreat Palm Dubai within 24 hours.

For the kaftan you want for sunset at Solmare or the shirt kept for a night in Downtown. Shirts and T-shirts cost AED 15, a basic abaya AED 18, trousers the same, and an everyday dress AED 40. Dry cleaning booked before noon can reach The Retreat Palm Dubai again the same day.

Clothes that are already clean but folded flat for twelve hours only need the creases taken out. Pressing costs AED 9 for a hung shirt, AED 10 for a blouse, AED 12 for trousers and AED 25 for a dress. Give us the pieces before your spa slot and you have them on hangers again inside 24 hours.

The towels and robes in your room belong to the resort, so leave those to the hotel. This service is for your own things: a baby's cot blanket, a travel pillowcase, a favourite beach towel, plus bedding from homes near the East Crescent. A blanket is AED 15, a pillow case AED 5, and a large duvet takes 48 hours.

Training shoes take the worst of a wellness week: treadmill dust, sweat, and grit carried in from the private beach. Sneakers are AED 55, sandals AED 45 and children's shoes AED 35. Trainers take 2 to 4 days, so hand them over early in your stay at The Retreat Palm Dubai rather than the night before you fly.

The gym holdall that carried damp kit to Rayya every morning can start to smell by the end of a stay. A duffel or gym bag is AED 65, a tote or backpack AED 45, and a child's bag AED 40. We clean the lining and the outside, which takes between 3 and 5 days.

Resort guests can skip this card. It serves Palm Jumeirah residents, in apartments on the Crescent or villas on the fronds. We charge AED 20 per sqm for regular carpet, AED 26 per sqm for wool, and AED 20 or AED 25 per sqm for curtains, depending on blackout lining. Allow 3 days.

Some guests fly in for a family wedding in Dubai and rest on the Palm afterwards. A standard gown starts at AED 250, a beaded gown at AED 450, a bridesmaid dress is AED 35 and a flower girl dress AED 28. Because a gown needs 7 to 14 days, we can return it to any address in Dubai.

This is for event companies and brands staging family days or launches around Dubai, not for resort guests. A small costume is AED 200, a medium AED 230 and a large AED 250, plus AED 30 for each accessory. Costumes are deodorised, cleaned and dried slowly, then returned after 3 to 5 days.

A favourite rabbit that went to Rayya Kids Club and the children's pool every day will need a proper clean before the flight. Toys cost AED 55 small, AED 70 medium and AED 120 large. Cleaning and drying needs 2 to 3 days, so send it midway through your stay at The Retreat Palm Dubai.

A service for Palm Jumeirah homes rather than hotel suites. A regular sofa cover is AED 35 and a large one AED 40; cushion covers are AED 10, AED 15 or AED 20 by size. Covers come home washed and pressed after 2 to 3 days, shaped to go back on the frame.

Winter nights on the Palm can be cool enough for a leather jacket, and a leather belt or wallet collects sun cream fast. Prices begin at AED 150 for a jacket, AED 130 for a coat or blazer, and AED 100 for a wallet or other small goods. Everything is hand-cleaned over 3 to 5 days.
