Families who make a Marbella villa their home for the season need a routine, not a one-off. A 12kg bag every week is AED 99; a couple might only need the 6kg bag at AED 60. Heavier weeks add AED 12 a kilo, and everything returns folded within a day.

Residents still go to work, and dinners need a good dress. A kandura or shirt costs AED 15 to dry clean, a jalabiya AED 20, a two-piece suit AED 50 and an evening dress AED 65. Give them to us before noon and they return that evening.

Many long-stay residents wash some things themselves and send only the ironing. Shirts cost AED 9 each, kanduras AED 12, a basic abaya AED 10 and a dress AED 25. It all comes back pressed and on hangers inside 24 hours.

Only for sheets, duvets and towels that are yours, whether carried from home for a long season or kept in a flat nearby; the resort supplies and handles its own. Your duvet is AED 50, a sheet AED 18, a beach or pool towel AED 6 and a bathrobe AED 16. Big duvets need two days.

Flood-lit tennis courts and air-conditioned squash courts mean court shoes take a beating here. We clean sports trainers for AED 55 a pair, children's trainers for AED 35 and loafers or formal pairs for AED 55. They need between two and four days, so send them after the weekend matches.

The racket bag that lives by the court, a beach tote or a child's school bag. Gym and duffel bags cost AED 65 to clean, totes AED 45 and school bags AED 40. Expect them back at the villa in three, four or five days.

Months in one place mean a broken zip, a hem coming down or trousers that fit differently. Replacing a trouser zip, redoing a hem or adjusting a waist costs AED 40 a job. The tailor needs two to three days, then it comes back to your villa.

Strictly for rugs and curtains that you own; the resort's furnishings are not part of this. We charge AED 20 per square metre for carpets and AED 26 for wool, and the same AED 20 for unlined curtains, AED 25 if they block out light. It takes three days.

A long stay often includes a family wedding. Bridal gowns start from AED 250, or from AED 450 if beaded; bridesmaid dresses are AED 35, a groom's three-piece AED 50 and a preservation box AED 210. Gowns need one to two weeks.

For entertainers who bring costumed characters to children's birthday parties around the lagoon. Our charge is AED 230 for a medium costume, AED 200 for a small and AED 250 for a large one, with AED 30 for each loose head, glove or prop. Back in under a week.

Children playing in the resort's play area and pools wear out their toys. A small toy is AED 55 to clean, medium AED 70 and large AED 120. Washed gently and back within two to three days.

For covers you own, in a flat nearby or brought along for a long season; never the villa's own furniture. A large sofa cover costs AED 40, a regular AED 35, and cushion covers are AED 10, AED 15 or AED 20 depending on size. Returned in two or three days.

A leather jacket for cool evenings by the lagoon, a handbag, or a belt and wallet used daily. Jackets cost AED 150, coats and blazers AED 130, wallets and belts AED 100, all cleaned and conditioned. Allow up to five days.
